It's ok to:
Ask for help. Make a mistake. Have a bad day. Ask for flexibility. Have a chat with those you work and volunteer alongside. Have non-camera days. Say no.
It's great to:
Laugh. Take up new opportunities. Celebrate our differences. Come up with solutions together. Recognise achievements. Share knowledge. Offer help tothose you work and volunteer with. Be positive.
Please:
Be kind - you never know what people are going through. Trust each other's motives. Get some fresh air – perhaps a walking meeting. Ask questions if indoubt. Have private conversations in a private place.
Feel encouraged to:
Tell someone when they are doing a great job. Take breaks. Look out for volunteers and colleagues when they are having a bad day. Share concerns and ideas. Have your own coping strategies.
Don't forget:
It’s important to look after yourself. Invest in yourself and others. Switch off when not volunteering or working – you do not need to be available 24/7.You did the best you could today, and that is good enough.
