Our commitment to accessibility
One of our strategic aims at the Open University Students Association is to "create a welcoming environment and champion accessibility for all". Accessibility is very important to us, and we are continuously working to enhance the accessibility of our website (and indeed, everything we do).
You can find out about our commitment to accessibility, the progress we've already made, and our accessibility plans for the future via our Accessibility Statement below.

The standard we're working towards
The Open University Students Association is working towards, and hoping to exceed, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AA standard.
We recommend a free-of charge resource called "My Computer My Way" from AbilityNet for information about using assistive digital technology.

Digital Inclusion
Ensuring everyone has the same opportunities to complete their studies is vital, and for reasons such as financial barriers we can often become digitally excluded, meaning we don’t have the access to the digital technology or internet needed for our work.
This video from the OU promotes digital inclusion, providing valuable tips and resources to anyone who needs support with accessing the devices they need, or perhaps if you’re simply unsure what kind of allowances you may be entitled to for support.
