Overview

Join our careers drop-in session to find out how we can help you navigate your future as you go through your OU journey. Our research shows many OU students start without being sure of their goals in life. Some have a goal in mind but don’t yet know how they’ll achieve it or what additional professional training, further study or related work experience might be required. Some are not studying for career reasons but would like to make their OU study count and track their personal progress. Others may worry about the sheer amount of careers information available or potential barriers to success. If any of these sound like you, you’re not alone. Whatever your ambitions, age, ethnicity, religion, abilities or disabilities, mental or physical health conditions, identity, background, lived experiences and differences, we can help equip you to navigate any challenges and realise your unique potential. We warmly welcome all new and current OU students to meet us and discover our useful and confidence-building online tools and downloadables, employer connections and events, internships and AI-powered CV, application and interview skills tools. Just bring yourself.
