The OUPS Statistics and Research Methods Workshop will be useful for students currently taking any of the OU undergraduate psychological courses as well as those who are studying for a Masters degree or who are hoping to apply for a higher degree in psychology in the future.
No knowledge or expertise in research or statistics is assumed, but in this single weekend the tutors will lead you through a range of research methods – including experimental research, survey research and qualitative research – and will take you through a range of statistical methods while guiding you in the use of the powerful statistical analysis package SPSS.
Whether you are a complete beginner in psychology research and statistics or you want to consolidate and expand your current understanding and skills, this workshop is for you.
