Curious Histories' talks come to London

Costs:

Non-OU students, staff and alumni: £7
In association with Curious Histories we're delighted to present an evening of history talks in London. Pitch up at the elegant Tokenhouse in Moorgate, in its downstairs function room and bar, where our show will feature three typically idiosyncratic talks. The show will begin around 7pm, but doors will open at 6pm. If you would like to eat beforehand, the Tokenhouse offers a great menu, so arrive when doors open and order food and drinks before we start. You do not need to reserve a table. The bar will stay open throughout the show. The event will finish no later than 10pm.
Our talks will include:
- The Curious Corners of Shakespeare's Life with René Weis, biographer of Shakespeare
- Dandy Highwaywomen with Sara Hiorns
- Sudden Death in the City: Victorian London's inquests with Sophie Michel
