Sunday 27 July, from 1300: meet at Berth 110, Southampton Western Docks, for an afternoon sail on ss Shieldhall to, roughly, Cowes and back. The Salty Sea Dogs Shanty Band will be on board, to entertain with appropriate live music for most of the trip.

There is no public transport available, although a taxi from Southampton Central station will cost about £15 each way. Parking is free at the Shieldhall car park, signposted from dock gate 20.
