The Communications Officer will work with the Committee in creating a strategy for the Group and will help to deliver this. Duties will include, but are not limited to (depending on the agreed strategy of the Committee):

- Coordinating/creating internal and external communications for the Group, for example; social media, forums and newsletters.
- Ensuring that all communications from the Group are accessible
- Moderating and coordinating the moderation of the Group’s online platforms
- Being a point of contact for communication-related matters with relevant staff at the Association, the Student Leadership Team and other student-led Support Groups
- Reviewing communications by gathering feedback from the Committee and Group members
- 4 online induction/training sessions run in MS Teams plus Moderating
- Mandatory e-learning modules and online self-study core training for volunteers
