Dear Open University Community,
As my two-year term as President of the Students Association draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on this incredible journey with immense gratitude and pride. It has been a privilege to serve you, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported and believed in us along the way.
First and foremost, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to our elected team and volunteers, especially our dedicated team of student representatives. Your passion, dedication and countless hours of hard work have been the heartbeat of our success. The Association’s accomplishments are a testament to your unwavering commitment.
I also want to express my deepest appreciation to the entire Open University community. Your steadfast support for our work and your dedication to student success have been crucial to our progress. It has been inspiring to see what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose.
To the Association staff team, thank you for your guidance, support and encouragement. Your expertise has been a constant source of strength, and has played an invaluable role in helping us reach our goals. I am deeply grateful for everything you have done.
And to our incredible students, thank you from the bottom of my heart for engaging with us, for voting, and for clearly communicating your needs and aspirations. Your participation has been our guiding light – shaping our initiatives and strengthening our mission.
As I prepare to hand over the baton to our new President, Natalie, I do so with great confidence and excitement for the future. I know the Students Association will continue to thrive under her capable and compassionate leadership.
Thank you once again for your incredible support, partnership, and for making this journey so memorable and fulfilling.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Margaret Greenaway
