Small acts of digital sustainability, tips:

  1. Emails
    1. Minimise email attachments, or attach documents using an online drive link instead.
    2. Send less 'thank you' emails, and generally reduce the amount of emails you send.
  2. Digital clean-up
    1. Regularly delete old/unecessary files from your devices and clear out your 'deleted items' from your emails!
  3. Calls
    1. Video calls have a higher carbon footprint than audio, so wherever you can, try having a phone call instead of a video call.
  4. Streaming
    1. Try switching to lower definition when streaming videos, TV shows & films on your favourite platforms like Netflix & YouTube.
  5. Search engines
    1. Bookmark websites you use regularly for easy access & to save search engine power!
    2. Consider switching to an eco-friendly search engine like 'Ecosia'.
