Due to personal reasons, Allan Blake, the Chair of the Board of Trustees, has resigned from the Board with immediate effect. As OU Students Association President and Deputy Chair of the Board, I have accepted his resignation. I would like to thank Allan for the time he has put in during his term with us.
I am, however, delighted to announce that Mark Price, one of our lay Trustees, has agreed to take over as Chair in a temporary capacity until the position can be filled on a permanent basis. Mark will continue to support the Association to represent OU students and deliver on our strategic objectives, while supporting our student leaders and staff team to be effective and happy in their roles. I look forward to working closely with him moving forward.
