Here's how it works:
You can submit any issue that you think needs to be addressed. Then, other students can vote on the issues they believe are the most important. The issues with the most votes will be discussed at the next Student Leadership Team meeting, which take place roughly four times a year.
There is no limit to the kind of issue you can submit. It might be something that The Open University is doing, or an external influence on your student experience, e.g. the cost of living. If it is impacting your studies, then we want to know about it. Click 'New issue' below and share your issue with us. When the page is looking full of issues, use the search to look for a specific issue you'd like to vote up or down.
Please note you will need to be logged into oustudents.com to submit an issue and to vote. If you're an OU student, but don’t have an account on this website, it’s quick and easy to register. You should not expect a direct response to your issue submission, but in some cases you may receive an email – e.g. if your issue needs any editing.
If you need specific support or advice with an ongoing complaint, please visit the Individual Representation area of our website.
Your input is vital for informing your Student Leaders what matters to OU students.
NB: Please note that your name will appear next to the issue which you raise. The issues listed below will not be anonymous. If you wish to discuss this further, please email our Executive Support team.
