I think every faculty has to have a mentoring/ supporting system for the students in place.
As someone who had a very bad year to the point I was thinking of giving up my studies, I think I could have benefited having a mentor, I know that some faculties have a mentor program in place but others do not.
Recently my faculty R81 has posted that they were for volunteers to mentor other students, but they required for the training to be in person on campus.
I think that this is limiting the amount of students who can apply and excludes a lot of students.
Some of us can not attend on site, but still would like to volunteer and help our fellow students.
