Delivery of materials if Yodel is used for delivery of module materials

If Yodel is used for delivery of module materials it is delivered very late or not at all. If they are contacted they are off hand and tell us to contact the sender, I.e. the OU. As a disabled student, my accommodation is mainly to have large visible printed materials provided. I need them ASAP to use them in the course. Late or nondelivered means I am at a distinct disadvantage before I can even start the module. This is an ongoing problem, not just this module. Why can't the OU use a reliable delivery service? I am physically sick whenever I see they are using Yodel. In this current module I have already had two mailings not delivered and I dread the future. Every new module it happens again. Non delivery with late delivery being their best effort. By late I mean the module actually in progress and I don't have the materials yet, playing catch up throughout the course. Who decides what delivery firm gets the contract and don't they read the complaints being sent in?

9:55am on 13 Jan 25 Hiya there had a e-mail from Yodel today saying they'd delivered a parcel (books) from Open University too me said it's in the safe place (near front porch) nothing is there front of back door not heard any noise, knocking of anything, I've tried to e-mail as the Yodel chat is closed. I've had issues before with them been thrown over the fence or one driver tried to deliver once and it said it was back at the depot in Goole some miles away from me, they did re-attempt after I complained that time. Any advice? A 2nd parcel is due tomorrow will it be delivered? Maybe Open Uni should not use Yodel anymore and instead use Royal Mail for example, if you're not in then they'd try again and after 3 times it goes to the local place to pick up not Goole.
