Sandra Summers: 10:12pm on 5 Apr 23 Hi Steph Laura and team won't thank me, but I would assume ‘errata’ monitoring would be automatically on the VP Ed’s and Reps’ job description, and if it is not it should be! When I first joined the OU, many moons ago, the then VP Ed had a campaign against this. It highlighted the problem and was very successful. But this is one of the issues that needs constant monitoring, as it goes in waves. Our Faculty has had problems recently, and particularly with exam errata. There have been instances of incorrect questions, lack of data sheets, and even messages posted on the afternoon of a 24 hour exam about referencing. There are also issues about missing links in module material. It is time consuming for students to report such errors. So, a possible suggestion- The Association set up a forum for reporting problems, so Reps can collate and have evidence.
Janine Houghton: 7:34pm on 11 May 23 There has been so much errors in my latest module and it is always students that point this out, if we didn't proofread our work we are marked down for it.
